Hi, I’m Jen,
And I’m an acupuncture patient too.
I’m also an acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist with an undergraduate degree in psychology and over two decades of clinical experience, specializing in women’s health.
But my path into this work didn’t start in a classroom; it started in a treatment room.
And honestly, it started with the same questions I hear from so many women today:
→ Why does no one have answers?
→ Why is the medical community not taking me seriously?
→ Why am I so exhausted from trying everything and still not feeling better?
I know that place. I’ve been there.
My story started with pain, and a search for answers
In my early 20s, after a car accident, I lived with chronic pain from a herniated disc.
I did everything I was told to do. I followed every recommendation.
And still, I was in pain every day.
Back pain. Arm pain. Leg pain.
And underneath it all, a growing frustration of not feeling heard or helped.
Eventually, I found acupuncture.
And something shifted.
The pain wasn’t gone after that first treatment, but I felt different.
There was more ease in my body… a lightness I hadn’t felt in years.
I kept going.
And over time, everything changed.
The pain resolved, but what surprised me most was what changed beyond the pain.
→ I was sleeping better.
→ I had more energy.
→ I felt more like myself again.
That experience changed the course of my life.
And I still receive acupuncture regularly to this day, it is what keeps me healthy and well.
This work is personal for me
That experience is what led me into this field, and it continues to shape how I care for the women I work with today.
I’ve walked alongside women through deeply personal transitions, fertility, cycle changes, chronic pain, and the shift into perimenopause and beyond.
Some of the women I first met during their fertility journey are still with me today.
We’ve moved through different seasons of life together.
And that continuity, being part of someone’s care over years, sometimes decades, is one of the most meaningful parts of my work.
A practice shaped by experience
For 16 years, I owned and operated an integrative wellness center rooted in whole-person care.
Eventually, I transitioned that practice into a worker-owned cooperative, an experience that reflected my deep belief in collaboration, sustainability, and care that honors people, not just systems.
After stepping back and returning to private practice, I came back with more clarity than ever:
My heart has always been working with women on their health journey.
How I practice
I use acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and nutritional supplements to help support the body in calming the nervous system, easing pain, and restoring balance, physically, emotionally, and energetically.
But more than anything, I take time.
Time to listen.
Time to understand your story.
Time to look at what your body has been trying to communicate beneath the surface.
Because healing doesn’t happen when you’re rushed or dismissed.
It happens when you’re truly seen.

The Jen Acupuncture Experience
When you come in, you’re not just coming in for a treatment; you’re stepping into a space where you can finally exhale.
→ Relaxing music.
→ Warm table.
→ Soft sheets. (nope, none of that crinkly table paper!)
→ Therapeutic heat lamp.
→ Adjustable tables to fit your comfort.
Everything is intentional because your nervous system needs to feel safe in order to let go.
This isn’t just acupuncture.
It’s a space for your body to settle… and begin to shift.
Why does this matter to you
This work isn’t just about symptoms.
It’s about finally understanding what your body has been trying to communicate and getting results so that you're feeling well again.
Whether you’re navigating fertility, chronic pain, cycle changes, or the transition into your next phase of life, this is care that meets you where you are.
Not a protocol—your treatment is uniquely designed for you.
What I believe
Your body is not working against you.
It’s communicating.
And when we learn how to listen, real change becomes possible.
