Hello,
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to share with you about myself
and my practice.
Prior to receiving my Master’s of Acupuncture degree I earned my
Bachelor’s of Art degree in Psychology from the University Of Maryland
Baltimore County. Immediately after graduation, I started the 3 year
Master’s of Acupuncture program at the Tai Sophia Institute which is the
oldest and first accredited acupuncture program in the United States .
I am a licensed acupuncturist through the Maryland Department of Health
and Mental Hygiene and the Maryland State Board of Acupuncture. I
received National Board Certification through the National Certification
Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), making me a
Diplomat of Acupuncture.
I completed a two and a half year program in Chinese Herbal Medicine
also at the Tai Sophia Institute. I hold a 660 hour certification for
Chinese Herbal Medicine.
I am also an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist certified through the
National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA).
I completed a ten-month yoga teacher-training program at the Columbia
Yoga Center in which I became a Registered Yoga Teacher at the 200-hour
level (RYT®200).
Last but not, least I am a Level II Reiki practitioner.
In summary I have 10 years of training and
5 ½ years of practice.
I am excited to offer you the power of relationship centered healing.
Through my experience as both a patient and as a practitioner, I have
experienced the transformational results of acupuncture treatments. At
the core of all treatments is respect and compassion. Come and join me
in a partnership of observing your life newly.
I look forward to learning about you.
